Woodlands Hospice is an independent charity situated in the grounds of Aintree University Hospital. It serves a population of 330,000 in South Sefton, North Liverpool and Kirkby in Knowsley.

The hospice provides specialist palliative care for people living with life-threatening illness, taking into account their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs. Care is provided by a multi-professional clinical team and includes support for patients and their families, loved ones and carers.
