Lantern Walk for Woodlands Postponed
After careful consideration we regret to inform you that due to lower than expected attendance we have decided to postpone our Lantern Walk scheduled for 5th October 2024. We believe the decision to postpone this event will ensure Woodlands Hospice better serves our cause and we hold a more impactful event with a greater experience for our supporters.
We are actively working to reschedule a new date for our Lantern Walk and will be in contact as soon as we finalise this. All current registrations will carry over to the rescheduled date. Get ready for an atmospheric lantern walk suitable for the whole family, including your furry friends!
With local musicians and choirs leading the way and our incredible volunteers cheering you on, it's a walk in the park, literally! The journey kicks off and wraps up at Croxteth Hall, where a bustling market with everything from Costco goodies to trendy jewellery and heavenly wax melts awaits.
Hungry? Thirsty? Fear not! We've got food vendors like Palmer and Co Salt and Pepper Shack, Julies Coffee Co, and Mo'bay Shack to keep those cravings at bay.
You get to keep the lantern from the walk, a glowing souvenir to light up your nights. Plus, the opportunity to dedicate a light to honour a special someone.

What to wear
- Wear appropriate footwear for uneven terrain.
- Dress warmly and be prepared for all weather conditions.

This is a sponsored walk, you will be sent a link to your unique online fundraising page, which will allow you to share your reasons for part taking in the walk for woodlands and share your incredible efforts with family, friends and across all social media platforms to gain donations to you personalised page.
