Million Step Challenge
Welcome to the Million Step Challenge for Woodlands Hospice!
Are you ready to get moving while supporting a great cause? We’re excited to invite you to take part in our Million Step Challenge, where every step you take brings us closer to making a difference for Woodlands Hospice.
How It Works
Starting in March, your goal is to walk 1,000,000 steps by December 31st. If you’re wondering if that’s achievable, don’t worry—it’s totally doable!
Here's the math:
- 1,000,000 steps ÷ 10 months = 100,000 steps per month
- 100,000 steps ÷ 30 days (average per month) = around 3,333 steps per day
That’s just a quick daily walk, or even a brisk stroll around the block! And if you miss a day, you’ve got the rest of the month to make up for it. It’s totally manageable!
Track Your Progress
We’ll be using either a Facebook group or a WhatsApp group to keep everyone connected. You can join either group to give monthly updates and stay motivated!
Simply snap a screenshot of your phone or watch showing your step count, and share it with the group. It’s a fun way to cheer each other on and keep up the momentum!
Friendly Competition
To spice things up, we’re holding a competition to see who can hit the 1,000,000 steps the fastest! And don’t worry—there’s a reward for our top participants! We have 38 medals up for grabs, so there are plenty of prizes for those who really get moving.
