Golden Goals

Football season is upon us. Whether your a Red, a Blue or support further afield football fun can raise funds!

Will you get the magic minute?

Make match day more interesting and play the Woodlands Hospice Golden Goal game with your friends, family, colleagues, neighbours and/or community group! Not only might you have some fun while you win a penny or two, you can help to raise funds to support Woodlands Hospice to continue providing their services and facilities for patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families. 

How to play

  • Our Golden Goals Card will have 90 blank squares, a square for each minute of the match
  • Choose your match
  • Set the stakes and decide how to split your prize pot
  • Sell each square to your network of friends or community group
  • The first goal of the game is the magic minute - whoever has this number is the winner of the Golden Goal!
  • If the score remains 0-0, numbers 1 and 90 split the winnings
  • Donate the allocated proportion of the prize pot

 

If Golden Goals or football aren't your game we also have "Woodlands Hospice Spot The Balls" or Raffle books to aid your fundraising.
 

Pay in your donations

Online

Use our website to pay in your donations online. Please tell us how you raised the money so we can ensure we thank you accordingly.

Cheque

Cheques made out to Woodlands Hospice Charitable Trust can be sent to: Woodlands Hospice, AUH Campus, Longmoor Lane, Liverpool, L9 7LA.

Bank transfer

Please phone us or email and we’ll provide you with our bank details. Please use a clear reference that identifies the funds as yours. We will also ask you to confirm the amount you are paying in.

Card

Please phone us on 0151 529 2630 with your card details and we’ll be able to take your donation over the phone. Whatever way you choose to pay in your donations, please make sure you let us know about it. This allows us to trace your contribution, and more importantly ensures that your generosity receives the acknowledgement it deserves. 

And don't forget, do let us know what you're doing and tell us if you set up any online pages to collect donations!
